So, to continue with the idea that travelling is more than about physically going to other places, I have promised myself I will also travel metaphorically. I’m going to branch out and explore new-to-me film genres and then write about them. Now, I’m no Mark Kermode and have never drafted a film review in my life! I am just really enjoying having the time and headspace to write, so why not?
I’ve never really been an avid cinema-goer, but with 2 Curzons in town, I’ve splashed out on a membership from which I plan to get full value for money from (mum, if you’re reading this, I know you’ll approve).

Synopsis:
When tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly.
